- Develop and maintain database and provide market information to traders of sugar;
- Research on market trends and opportunities in order to develop marketing strategies for sugar industry;
- Capacity build Stakeholders (Formulators, Processors, Traders and other stakeholders) on value addition and product development in collaboration with research and higher learning institutions;
- Facilitate sugar products registrations to ensure market access in the global market; and
- Provide trade promotional services by creating linkages between manufacturers and buyers.
