- Collect, collate, and analyze sugar industry data.
- Conduct market research and surveys in the industry;
- Capacity build Stakeholders (Farmers, Millers, Traders and other stakeholders) on value addition and product development;
- Develop markets for sugar co-products;
- Promoting Kenya sugar products;
- Monitor sugar imports, exports, and domestic sales activities;
- Advocate for the rationalization of technical and non-technical barriers to sugar trade through negotiating for favorable trade terms for sugar import and production;
