1. Provide market information to traders of sugar;
  2. Collect, collate, and analyze sugar industry data.
  3. Conduct market research and surveys in the industry;
  4. Capacity build Stakeholders (Farmers, Millers, Traders and other stakeholders) on value addition and product development;
  5. Develop markets for sugar co-products;
  6. Promoting Kenya sugar products;
  7. Monitor sugar imports, exports, and domestic sales activities;
  8. Advocate for the rationalization of technical and non-technical barriers to sugar trade through negotiating for favorable trade terms for sugar import and production;
